After whitening, you should avoid eating or drinking anything other than water for 2 hours. This is when your teeth are most vulnerable to staining.

Also, to maintain the whitening effect, it's best to avoid dark-colored or saucy foods for the next 24–48 hours — which includes most Korean foods (like kimchi, jjajangmyeon, spicy sauces, etc.).
